Guarded transitions

Availability enforced at booking (unless overbooking is enabled). Check-in requires a confirmed booking with a room and a non-future arrival — and flips the room to Occupied-Clean. Check-out recalculates the folio, refuses on outstanding balance unless force-confirmed, flips the room to Vacant-Dirty and releases availability. No-show is only valid for confirmed bookings; cancel stamps timestamp, user and reason and frees the dates.

Auto-posting on check-in

Every night's room charge posts to the folio automatically, plus summary lines for tax and service charge. Package inclusions on the rate plan post themselves, and meal-plan codes (RO, BB, HB, FB, AI) post the right F&B charge per night per guest for each included meal at configured per-person rates. Totals are built from the rate-calculator quote, with balance due derived from any deposit paid.

Audited & announced

A per-night rate snapshot is stored and rewritten whenever dates, room type or rate plan change; modifications re-quote and rebuild availability for both old and new windows, each writing its own audit event. Created, confirmed, checked-in, checked-out, cancelled and no-show all fire notification hooks (best-effort — a messaging hiccup never blocks the desk), and a confirmation or booking-request email goes out automatically when the guest has an email on file. Cancelled, checked-out and no-show bookings can't be edited.

Property Setup

Code, name, legal name, 1–5 star rating; country pack (Pakistan, GCC, India, Generic) driving tax and invoice behavior; timezone, currency, default check-in/out times, max nights, inclusive/exclusive tax display, allow-overbooking (warn, don't block) and day-use stays; full contact & tax details with logo. Multiple properties per branch with a first property auto-created, per-branch unique codes, and an access-controlled in-session property switcher.

Room Types

Reusable templates: bed type (single to king) and count, base/max adults, children, infants and total occupancy, view type (city, garden, pool, sea, mountain, courtyard), area and image. Pricing defaults — default/single/double rates, extra-adult and extra-child charges, extra-bed toggle with charge. Attach any number of amenities; the list view shows live physical-room counts, and a type with rooms assigned can't be deleted.

Rooms & Bulk Create

Every physical room with number, display name, type, floor, bed-type override, view, smoking flag, connecting-room link, sellable flag, sort order and notes. Bulk-create a whole floor or wing from a number range — prefix, start/end, zero-padding — skipping duplicates and reporting created/skipped counts. Seven housekeeping states updatable directly with status notes and a who/when audit stamp; filter by type, floor, status, active state or search.

Floors, Amenities & Seasons

Floors with level (Ground = 0, Basement = −1), smoking flag and sort order — protected from deletion while rooms exist. An amenities catalog across eight categories (bathroom to safety) with icons and chargeable-per-night amounts. Seasons with start/end dates, priority (higher wins on overlap) and display colors — resolved by the rate calculator highest-priority first.

Policies

Five policy kinds — Cancellation, Deposit, No-show, Early Checkout, Extension — each with a default-for-kind flag and rules definitions: tiered cancellation fees by hours-before, percentage or fixed deposits, no-show fees, early-checkout notice and extension rules, with built-in templates per kind.

Services & Extras Catalog

Spa, transport, F&B, business, laundry, amenity and package services with charge type, unit price and label ("per hour", "per person"), tax rate and a linked accounting ledger — sold to a reservation folio with optional price override, quantity, posting date and notes.

Every charge lands on the folio — and in your ledger.

Every reservation gets a "Main" folio automatically, posting through to your accounting with multi-folio splits, settlement controls and guest-ready prints.
